Crossover Dachshunds began in 2003. A year earlier we had purchased a sassy black & tan miniature bitch from Criscross kennels in Tennessee. She finished her championship quickly, and was bred to Ch. Duchwoods' Red Alert. The resulting litter was beautiful, and we were "hooked"! Cris Natali and I co-owned a striking male, which she named Criscross Over the Top. This being a new breed for me, a new marriage, Crossover just seemed appropriate. So Crossover Dachshunds came to be.
Recently we relocated to Oklahoma, my birth state. It's beautiful here, even when the "wind comes sweeping down the plain". This is the fulfillment of a lifelong dream for me.
Our goal here is to breed beautiful Dachshunds conforming to the standard in Miniature size. They must be strong and healthy with outstanding dispositions.
